美國獨立聯盟大西洋聯盟的長島鴨隊（Long Island Ducks）今天宣布簽下台灣投手曹錦輝，長島鴨隊官網也撰文介紹曹錦輝，報導中指出曹錦輝有豐富的大聯盟經驗。
35歲的曹錦輝前年復出，連續兩年效力道奇隊，都有在大聯盟出賽，去年季中受傷，季後遭釋出，季後他沒有得到美職各球團的合約，因此最後決定加盟獨立聯盟中實力較出色的大西洋聯盟，期待還有機會回到大聯盟系統的球隊。
長島鴨球團總裁Michael Pfaff表示曹錦輝擁有多年在較高層級出賽的經驗，相信他的加入，對我們的投手群會有相當大的幫助。
曹錦輝過去曾效力洛磯隊，返台加入兄弟象，因涉嫌涉入職棒賭博案遭中華職棒終身禁賽，前年他復出之後在大聯盟出賽5場，戰績1勝1敗，防禦率10.29，去年則在大聯盟出賽2場，投1.2局失1分，吞下1敗。

「魔球」軍團奧克蘭運動家隊終於在季末出手補強，以600萬美元一年約簽下外野手Rajai Davis（戴維斯），他去年幫印地安人隊打進世界大賽。
Rajai Davis36歲，但他去年盜壘43次，位居美聯盜壘王寶座，而他也繳出打擊率2成49，出賽134場。
運動家隊很希望他未來鎮守中外野大關，而這也將會是他第二次回到運動家隊，2008年他曾轉戰運動家，後來2010年前往藍鳥隊發展。
